Sport, food and health: the culture of wellness Questionnaire : : THE ALIMENTARY HABITS OF THE SPORTSMEN Recipients of the del questionaire: 200 frequenting students(18 females and182 males) the first classes of our Institute. Do you practise any sports?

In synthesis

Do you think your diet is suitable to the sport you practise?

Do you think diet is important for sport performance?

Is your diet different from the people in your family who don't practise any sports?

Is your diet always the same or does it vary when you train?

Do you follow any particular suggestion/s to get the best results in sports? What is it/are they? Who suggestested it/them? Vitamins (doctor and trainer) Sweet food thirty minutes before the training (mother) Fruit milkshake(trainer)Creatina(anybody) To eat at least two hours before the training (trainer and mother)

Conclusions From the analysis of the results it is underlined that him 85% of the interviewed ones believe that the feeding is important for the sporting output, nevertheless around 40% it doesn't pay particular attention to his/her own diet. It also emerges that, except a small percentage of students (almost all sporting to competitive level) that you/they show in general a correct behavior in theme of feeding, the majority needs to be addressed and driven in his/her own alimentary choices, above all those people that are devoted to sporting activity with a certain sistematicità but to levels of appointment type amateur and recreational.
