Water Pioneers Community Project 2007 Water you waiting for? Make a difference in your community!

Objective/Overview: By working in my community, I wanted to educate students about their watersheds, how they affect them, and what they can do to improve the waters quality. By working in my community, I wanted to educate students about their watersheds, how they affect them, and what they can do to improve the waters quality. I informed the students about certain parts or matter that can affect their water, such as pollution. I also mentioned some ways to conserve our water, which can easily be used in everyday living. Together, with a 7 th grade class, I demonstrated the effects of pollution on our watershed using different colored soft drinks, and three bowls of water.
