3 Introduction to Web Quest We want our students to consider the variety of products they may put into their water and the impact on water quality in the future.

4 Questions to be considered  What is the fate of the variety of products that you introduce into the water?  Can the product residue be easily treated or removed?  Is there an impact on the water we drink?  Does this affect humans now or in the future ?

5 Anticipated Inquiry Content Pathways of the Personal Care Product Eventual disposition of the Personal Care Product along its pathway through our water treatment system Accumulation of residues in our watershed

6 Curriculum Standards State Standards N.12.B.2 Students know consumption patterns, conservation efforts, and cultural or social practices in countries have varying environmental impacts. N.2.A.3 Students know models and modeling can be used to identify and predict cause – effect relationships.
