Hook: This sentence grabs the reader’s attention Hook: This sentence grabs the reader’s attention. It is your very first sentence. This tells your reader your three points. Transition words should be used at the beginning of each paragraph and each time you make a new point. Evidence-based terms are used to introduce evidence from the text/website. Explaining evidence is SO important! Do it after every piece of evidence you use! Conclusion: Write a conclusion that goes over each point again IN A NEW WAY! **You may NOT write “And that is why…”
