4 Step Three: Provide the quote from the text that proves prong one. Put it in sentence form and use citation. (page, paragraph #) Your sentence could start as: In the story, In the reading, Dahl shows us... In the story, it stated... citation first- It says on page, paragraph..

5 Step Four: Now that you have stated your prong and given a piece of evidence, this sentence explains why the quote you chose PROVES your 1st prong is CORRECT. Tell me why you are right, why your quote is right. This shows... This evidence proves...
