Parents will be able to monitor. student progress through Synergy/ Parents will be able to monitor student progress through Synergy/ ParentVUE on the CCSD Web Site. This Year Students Will Receive Letter Grades: A: 90-100 B: 89-80 C:79-74 D: 73-70 F: 69 and Below
- This school year students will receive numerical grades averaged at the end of each quarter. - Progress reports are issued every 4.5 weeks. - Check your student’s progress frequently. - Graded work will also come home in Thursday Folders. No score given will be below a 60, but the assignment sent home will reflect the accurate grade.
Conference week for the 2017-2018 school year is scheduled for October 16-20. These conferences are mandated by Cobb County and it is very important that you attend. Students will have Early Release all week and be dismissed at 12:20 Please remember to let me know if transportation will change for your child on these days.
Late Work Policy * If a student is absent, they have the same amount of days that they are absent to complete work. * Any work turned in one week past the due date may receive a grade of a “0.”
Homework Expectations Please make sure that you review your child’s agenda nightly and sign it. Your child should be reading 30 minutes nightly.

In fourth grade, we have the following sequence of consequences for misbehavior: 1. Two verbal warnings 2. Reteach and reflect for a portion of recess 3. Note, phone call, or email home to parents. 4. Infraction Report of Referral to Administration

Please make sure that your child arrives to school on time and that they know how they are going home. Please send any transportation changes in writing or email to the office, not the teacher.

Lunch with Students Parents are welcome to come to eat lunch with their child. Tables are now provided on the stage for parents to eat with their children.
Special Events We only have one party per year: our annual Holiday Party! Birthdays may be celebrated by bringing a special treat to lunch. (Please, be mindful of allergies.)
