RATIONALE GSC Resolution-15/20 addresses the harmonization of Radio Microphones and Cordless Audio Availability of spectrum may become an issue as more spectrum is identified to provide Wireless Broadband

RATIONALE In addition, congestion in some bands where wireless microphones operate may increase as a result of the increased use of these frequencies by devices using opportunistic wireless access methods There is benefit in highlighting spectrum availability and congestion in the context of harmonization efforts to facilitate the adoption of solutions that are most effective

PROPOSAL GSC16-GRSC9-15 contains draft text for a revised Resolution on Radio Microphones and Cordless Audio Harmonization that uses existing Resolution GSC-15/20 as a basis ISACC invites GSC-16 to approve its proposed revisions to Resolution GSC-15/20 on Radio Microphones and Cordless Audio Harmonization
