MIP480 Competitive Info MIP480 vs Intermec 6820/PK80 Print Speed MIP480 is 400 cps @ 10 cpi vs 230 cps on Intermec units Connectivity MIP480 has serial, USB, Bluetooth as standard. The 6820 has serial or Bluetooth, USB (needed for laptops in many cases) is not available. MIP has an optional 802.11 interface, not available on Intermec printers. Print Quality MIP480 is 24 wire, great for signature capture printing – Intermec is 9 wire, not so great for any imaging. Operator Access Paper can be loaded without opening covers on the MIP480, not so on Intermec printers.
