A workbook documenting points earned must be submitted to NATMI prior to the renewal due date After an individual has become certified, in order to retain a current certification, they must renew every three years from the anniversary date of their initial certification. Renewal is based on a point system. Individuals must earn 30 points in the 3-year renewal cycle. Points are earned through continuing education and industry involvement at the local, regional and national level. Prior to the 3-year renewal due date, the applicant must submit a workbook, which documents their point-earning activities.
