We are working setting the foundation for future math success.  By providing experiences in which the children are able to add to sets or take away from sets they are learning the concepts of addition and subtraction.  Through these activities the children see that the number or the quantity  changes as they add to or take away.    They are learning to look at sets of objects and see not only how many are there but also which group has more, less, or equal amounts.  They are also learning that sets can be broken down into groups and groups can be put together to make a whole.   Letter People: Ms. F, Ms. J Calendar Events: Please watch for information in regards to Christmas happenings from your child’s teachers.
