Existing Corruption Circumstances in Thailand Widespread and rampant corruption particularly in political system. Estimates that bribe-taking ranging from 25 to 35% of the government budget i.e. particularly in procurement, construction, and investment projects (2012 UTCC Survey Project) The estimated total amount is over 300,000 million baht or 10,000 million US dollars or more than 2.5 % of GDP. Corruption in mega projects are prevalent and difficult to trace i.e. rice pledging scheme, etc.

ACT, formerly titled as Anti- Corruption Network (ACN), was established in June 2011 by the business-led network in the purpose to lessen and counter corruption which is the major problem that obstructs Thailand development. Now, we have 47 members, including professional associations, educational institutes and social groups, closely collaborated with each other in many projects and campaigns.
