SEPYLA Meeting End of Season and Playoffs 5/17/2018

Remaining Games – Due Dates Specifically Playoff Eligible Teams For all games that have been played, scores should be entered by the Home Team by 8 PM on Sunday, 5/20. Please look at your results in SEPYLA and chase down any scores needed by then. All games must be completed by 8PM on Tuesday, 5/22 and the Home Team must have the score entered by 9PM on the same day. You must notify the Competition Committee by Sunday at 8PM if you have games that will be played on 5/21 or 5/22. Please specify which teams (including level) If both teams have tried to fit the game in and can’t, the 2 teams should determine how to reflect the game. If they cannot agree, it should be sent to the Competition Committee and we will make the ruling and update the results accordingly. Any Home Team that has not entered their scores by 9PM on Tuesday, 5/22 will receive a 0-1 Loss.

Playoffs Playoffs will begin on Wednesday 5/23. Playoffs will occur for the following divisions: A1 Elite, A1, A2, B1, B2. As a reminder, only A2 and B2 teams that also fielded an A1 or A1E or B1 or B1E(not applicable this year) team are eligible for playoffs. Top 8 teams make the playoffs for each division (where applicable). This will be determined by W/L, then H2H, then Goals Against. First Round games must be completed by 5/25 and results entered in SEPYLA. Home Teams are responsible for field and referees costs should be split between competing clubs. Second Round games must be completed by 6/1 and results entered in SEPYLA. Home Teams are responsible for field and referees costs should be split between competing clubs.

Championship Weekend 6/2 and 6/3 Championship weekend will take place at Radnor High School (Encke and Prevost Turf Fields). Info will be sent out ahead of the weekend with rules/maps Top 2 seeds from each divisional playoff will advance to Championship weekend. 6/2 Semifinals #1 North Seed will play #2 South Seed and #2 North Seed will play #1 South Seed for each division. Winners will advance to Championship on 6/3. Games will be blocked for 1.5 hours starting at 9AM. Competing teams will split referee fees. We will provide balls, cones and scoreboard, each team will need to provide 1 parent to work the scoring table/box. 1st games of the morning will need to ensure fields are set up and last games of the day will need to ensure things are cleaned up (please enlist your parents to do this, bring garbage bags). A SEPYLA board member will be on site to assist with any issues. 6/3 Finals Semi winners will play starting at 11AM in 2 Hour Blocks We will have medals for the winning teams A Medic will be on-site for the weekend
