Monday 9/18/17 Copy this week’s schedule into your assignment notebook. Copy exactly as it written please. Notebook Entry: Review the list of criteria and constraints that is written on the board (look to the left). Please copy these two lists into your spiral notebook. Be sure to include the headings for each list.

Do you understand the problem better now? Sometimes, just making a first, simple try at solving the problem gives you a better understanding of the task at hand.

ITERATION Iteration is a repeated attempt to improve a process or product.

Build a Better Boat In your spiral sketch an idea for your 2nd iteration of the boat. Keep in mind our updated list of criteria and constraints.

Build a Better Boat Share your sketch with your group members. Spend time discussing everyone’s sketch and choose one boat for the group to build. Turn your Boat Records sheet over to the other side. Put your name and today’s date. Build your boat Sketch the group’s boat design in the first box of the Boat Records sheet. This time measure the dimensions of your boat with a ruler and record these measurements as labels on your sketch. Test and Record results of the boat.
