Turn in your blue science guideline sheet if you have it signed. It is due today! Friday 9/8/17 Notebook Entry: Yesterday you made a list of 3 activities you like to do. Look at your list and pick 1 of the activities. For that one activity write a list of all the knowledges and skills you need to be able to do that activity. You need at least 5 things.

For example if you like multiple sports please put 1 of the sports. Or if you like art put the type of art you like to do.

Sports Hockey Outdoors Fishing Art Painting Specific General If any of your activities are too general revise it to be more specific.

4 Pick one activity For just one of your activities make a list of all the skills and knowledge you need to do that activity well. You need at least 5 things.

Would the skill apply to other things? Fast Good Strong Need to be written specific to the activity Ride a horse at a fast gallop Sing a song in tune and with appropriate pitch. Pull back on the bow string General

7 We can use rubrics to describe the knowledge and skills we are learning and the progress we make along the way.

100-90% A – A- 89-80% B+ – B- 79-70% C+ – C- 69-60% D+ – D- 59% or less F

9 How am I doing? Task: Create a rubric to describe the activity you like to do and the progress you make as you learn to do it.

10 How am I doing? Start will the level of proficient to fill out the chart. On the right had side you describe in an “I can” statement. On the left hand side you would draw a picture of what that level looks like. Next begin working on the other levels (emerging, developing, and advanced) Your chart is complete when all levels are described with I can statements and you have a picture sketched for each level. Turn it in when you are finished.
