Falmouth School

Where is Falmouth School? We live towards the bottom of the United Kingdom. In a county called Cornwall Within Cornwall we live in a town called Falmouth You can see in the map above where Our school is placed in Falmouth

About our school Falmouth school is a business and enterprise school. We have around 1,100 students within Falmouth school ranging from age 11-16. We also have 240 students who have decided to stay on and do their a levels within the 6th form. We have around 68 teachers and 50 support staff. We have recently installed a wind turbine into the school grounds to help and “do our part” for the environment.

In the Community We used to be named Falmouth Community school for how much we do for the community. We offer parts of our school out to the community for them to use, for example we offer our sports hall during out of school hours to sports organisations for things such as training. We offer lessons for the older generations such as I.C.T and maths lessons We also have teachers and students go into primary schools to help out with certain subjects and activities. Falmouth school have open days for the community to come and visit to see what we do within the school along with our achievements. Along with this we also offer open days specifically for primary school children to come up, look around and carry out some fun activities to help them decide where to go to secondary school.
