From Symposium 2016 We heard: Updates: Would be helpful to make TC reports available to attendees in advance. Suggested topics for 2017: IOT, cloud, big data Minimize conflicts with future symposium dates Updates: Done IOT focus this year Communicating dates further in advance

2016 in Numbers INCITS standards published 11 New INCITS projects initiated 11 US National Body votes submitted 817 US National Body contributions/ comments submitted 104

Funding International Secretariats For INCITS to support an international secretariat, we seek financial support from 3+ organizations to share the cost Secretariat sends call for interest to the INCITS community INCITS currently funds secretariats for SC 22, SC 32, SC 38, SC 39, WG 9 Seeking additional support

Membership Agreement Membership agreement is required for INCITS participation Most INCITS members have signed and returned the agreement, but there are some stragglers. Without a signed membership agreement, expect limits on future participation Please help us complete the transition by encouraging organizations in your TCs to ensure they have submitted the signed agreement. New Activity INCITS transitioned our IOT TC from TAG for WG 10 to a TAG for SC 41 SC 41 includes IOT, sensor networks, wearable technologies Topics under evaluation at JTC 1: 3D printing and scanning Smart manufacturing INCITS now holds the US TAG for ISO TC 307 (Blockchain and Electronic Distributed Ledger Technologies)
