Dates Sept 1, 1939 – Invasion of Poland (Start of WWII) December 7, 1941 – Attack of Pearl Harbor (Pull the U.S. into WWII) June 6, 1944 – Allied invasion of Normandy Beach (D-Day)

Vocab Great Depression – Economic slump from 1929-1939 (Global depression) Overproduction – producing more products than there are buyers for Overspeculation – You hold onto stocks for too long ($) Treaty of Versailles – Treaty that ended WWI (caused Germany to start WWII) Fascism – type of government a lot like communism Appeasement – Allowing someone to take what they want to avoid war
