What do you have to do to become a Registered Dietitian? Complete a bachelor’s degree through an ACEND accredited program. Get matched to an ACEND accredited dietetic internship OR to a dietetic internship with a combined master’s degree. Pass the dietetic registration exam. Gain licensure in your state of practice. Maintain continuing education.
