START HERE Can you provide evidence of sustained impact in the Refer to the UK Professional Standards Framework for Teaching and Supporting Learning (UKPSF). Starting on page 3, examine the three ‘Dimensions of Practice’ (Areas of Activity, Core Knowledge, Professional Values) Are you involved in… ….at least two out of the five Areas of Activity? No …all five of the Areas of Activity? Yes Does your role involve co-ordinating, supporting, supervising, managing and/or mentoring others (whether individuals or teams) in relation to teaching and learning?* Can you address all six Core Knowledge areas and all four Professional Values outlined on P3 of the UKPSF? Do you have at least one year’s experience working with your two chosen Areas of Activity? You need to gain further teaching experience and / or knowledge in these areas before proceeding with an application for professional recognition by the HEA. You are in a position to consider applying for Fellowship of the HEA No Yes Yes No Can you provide evidence of sustained impact in the leadership that you provide plus two case studies of 1500 words each, reflecting on your leadership roles? You need to gain further teaching experience and /or knowledge in these areas before proceeding with an application for professional recognition by the HEA.
