Warm Up Who was the person who led the Protestant Revolution?

Quiz Time! Do NOT write on the quiz! Mark your answers on your answer document. Write your short answer question on a separate sheet of paper with your name on it. When finished, turn it in. No Talking!

Industrial Revolution

Objective I will be able to identify the major inventions of the Industrial Revolution and how they affected the development of history.

Let the Revolution Begin! During the late 1700’s, a series of inventions were created that began to revolutionize different industries. Starting with the textile (cloth) industry and continuing through energy and transportation, the Industrial Revolution spread through Europe and America. With these changes, the economy of these countries began to move away from Primary Economic Activity (farming, logging, fish, etc) and into Secondary Economic Activities with factories producing finished products.

Video Time! As you watch the video, answer the questions on your video quiz sheet.

Reading Time! Turn to pages 270-271!

Time to Advertise! With a partner, you will be creating a one page advertisement about one part of the Industrial Revolution. Step 1: Pick a partner! Step 2: Draw a number. Step 3: Get your research material. Step 4: Create a 1 page advertisement using words, pictures, and color!
