2 The Industrial Revolution Stations In your groups, decide who will take the following roles Leader: makes sure group is staying focused on the task and not getting side tracked. Task Identifier: will read the directions out loud to group at all stations so everyone knows what needs to be completed. Time Keeper: will make sure group is using their time wisely and keep eye on the clock. Recorder: will write down the groups ideas and answers where needed. The recorder will not be answering all the questions, but recording the answers agreed on as a group OBJECTIVE: SWBAT identify the social and economic impact of the Industrial Revolution through stations activity. STANDARDS: H.1.b; H.3.b; H.2.d; E.1.a

3 The Industrial Revolution Stations You will work as a group to analyze information on the different topics related to the Industrial Revolution. The stations include: Big Business Inventions Factory Life City Life Every member of the group will help answer questions found inside their group’s packet. You will have 15 minutes at each station and will NOT have time to finish, so use your time wisely Each group will be graded according to the rubric found on the first page of your packet. (make sure all names are on this page!) Each Group will start with “Factory Life” after watching a short video on the Triangle shirtwaist Factory fire. OBJECTIVE: SWBAT identify the social and economic impact of the Industrial Revolution through stations activity. STANDARDS: H.1.b; H.3.b; H.2.d; E.1.a
