Aspects of Culture Vocabulary Write the definitions for each aspect of culture.

Institution Organization developed by society to make social roles clear and take care of social needs, like health care, religious needs, etc.

Customs Things people usually do, like how they dress, what they eat, and how they celebrate turning points in life.

Culture A people’s way of life; includes all aspects of how people behave in society through their language, literature, music, food, art, religion, and technology.

Roles Based on proper behavior of individuals in society. When learned, becomes a part of their culture.

Perception A way of understanding or interpreting something.
