Discipleship Starting Points We can spend a whole lifetime learning about being a disciple but never be a disciple. Discipleship - process or event? Discipleship Task Group

Discipleship Task Group Becoming a Disciple … is not akin to gaining a certificate or joining a club something we are given, fully formed passed on to us at baptism or confirmation to do with attending a church building Discipleship Task Group

Discipleship Task Group Becoming a Disciple … is an active expression of venturesome love (from Beyond the Good Samaritan, Ann Morisy) a form of apprenticeship undertaken in community (from Following Jesus – the Plural of Disciple Is Church, Alison Morgan) summed up by the title We Make the Road by Walking Brian McLaren In your company I’ll go where your love and footsteps show. Thus I’ll move and live and grow in you and you in me. (John Bell’s hymn, ‘The Summons’) Discipleship Task Group
