J35 Trg O (Expd) Bragg Creek, Host on National competition of mountain bike

CADET CRITERIAS Gold star qualified 16 years of age prior to the start of the expedition Completed succeed regional expedition and/or Leadership and Challenge Course Female Silver Fitness level for 16 year old will be the minimum standard applied to all (Male/females) Priority will be given to cadets who have achieved a higher incentive level no medical limitations have NOT participated in a national or international expedition within the last year be recommended by their corps’ Commanding Officer (CO).

CIC SELECTION At least one bilingual CIC At least one male and one female officer will be employed. MOS 00232-02 (CIC Army); experience in adventure-based activities and/or expeditions. Priority will be given to officers who currently participate in zone level expedition training and have completed regional level expeditions; medically fit and have no medical restrictions; Valid Forces Test LT minimum officers will complete the form entitled “Staff Employment Request for Exchanges, Para and Expedition” (Ch 1/14) and all supporting documentation; J35 Trg O (Expd) 7 Days Mountaineering – high camp 1, camp 2 (option to summit Castle Guard), camp 3 Trench (prior to summit on Columbia), summit day, hike out (option to summit Castle Guard), hike out 4 Days Biking – multiple trails, various levels on four separate days Location close by to Calgary More than 140 km of trail available CIC led activity, with one Professional guide for more experience PRO’S Easy access for evacuations Healthy relations with Park Canada on the: camping without trace” Very efficient Search and rescue programs A lots of support from outside agencies
