Medicine - BMAT Test The Bio-Medical Admissions Test (BMAT) is a subject-specific admissions test taken by applicants to certain medicine, veterinary medicine and related courses at various UK institutions. English / Foreign Languages Test – ELAT The ELAT is a pre-interview admissions test for applicants to undergraduate courses in English at the University of Oxford. History Test – HAT The University of Oxford’s Faculty of History is responsible for the setting and development of the History Aptitude Test, including the test format and scoring. International Medical Admissions Test – IMAT Italian universities, with the Italian Ministry of Higher Education and Research (MIUR), offer undergraduate courses that are taught in English and open to applicants outside of Italy. As part of this initiative, six Italian universities are offering a number of places for both home and overseas students to study medicine and surgery. Law – LNAT Test You need to take the LNAT if you are applying for 2016 entry, to a variety of UK undergraduate law programmes. Oriental Languages Aptitude Test - OLAT The OLAT is a 30-minute admissions test taken by applicants to certain degree courses in Oriental Studies at the University of Oxford and its joint schools. University of Oxford Philosophy Test The Philosophy Test, for Philosophy and Theology candidates, is a test of philosophical reasoning skills. There is no expectation that candidates will have undertaken any formal study of philosophy, and it is not a test of philosophical knowledge. Thinking Skills Assessment - TSA Cambridge The version of the TSA used for admissions to Politics, Psychology & Sociology (PPS) contains critical thinking questions only. The next TSA (University of Cambridge) session will take place during interviews for 2017 entry to the University of Cambridge. Thinking Skills Assessment – TSA UCL This test measures an applicant's critical thinking and problem solving skills. The TSA is used as part of the interview process for candidates applying to University College London (UCL). Any candidate needing to take the TSA will have their test sitting arranged for them by UCL when they come for their interview. UK Clinical Aptitude Test - UKCAT The requirement to take the test applies to all UK, EU and the majority of international applicants to Medicine and Dentistry in the UK. You can register for the 2016 test in May 2016. Testing takes place between July and October 2017. Register yourself and select your preferred test date.
