Haiti What does it mean when geographers say that Haiti’s standard for living is low? When Haiti became independent, why did Europeans avoid helping it? What is malnutrition? How could education improve food supply & resources? What disaster struck Haiti in 2010? Haiti & the Dominican Republic share the same island & have a similar history but Haiti is not as developed.
