History Fair NHD Web Site Take out your packet and turn to page 15.

NHD Web Site Instructions 1.Designate one member of your group, who will create the web page. 2.Go to lincolnparkhs.org. 3.Click on Departments, History, Staff, Mr. S. Lane and then R US History. 4.Scroll down to where it says In order to start or work on your History Fair Web Site, go to: and Click the link.

NHD Web Site Instructions 1.On the NHD web site, find the orange button that says website editor. 2.One member of your group, should type in a username, password and address into the boxes below where it says Get started here. You must also check the box that says I accept the terms of service. 3.Write down this Info on the ½ paper I gave you!!!! I will collect it!!! 4.All group members should write down the username and password on page 15 of your packet. 5.Click Sign Up. 6.Stay on this page. Write down your assigned web address somewhere on page 15. The web address should look like this: nhd.weebly.com. I may come around and write down your web address nhd.weebly.com 7.Also write it down on the ½ paper I gave you!!!! 8.Once youve written down your web address, click Edit Site.

NHD Web Site Instructions 11. A box will pop up, where you need to enter a title for your web site. Enter a professional title that reflections both your topic and turning point. This title will be seen by anyone who looks at your web site so make sure it is appropriate and the words capitalized. ClickSave Title.

NHD Web Site Instructions 12. Click on the tab that says Pages. A Home Page is already created for you. 13. Click Add Page. In the box to the right where it says New Page, highlight the words New Page and replace those word by typingBackground. 14. Click Add Page. In the box to the right where it says New Page, highlight the words New Page and replace those word by typingTurning Point. 15. Click Add Page. In the box to the right where it says New Page, highlight the words New Page and replace those word by typingOutcome and Significance. 16. Click Add Page. In the box to the right where it says New Page, highlight the words New Page and replace those word by typingBibliography and Summary Statement Form. 17. Finally, click the orange button that says Save Settings.

NHD Web Site Instructions 18. Click the tab at the top of the page that saysDesign. Select a template from the Favorites that you like. You can change the picture and the font later. 19. The tabs and buttons at the top of the site will be what you use to build your web site. 20. Now, click the tab at the top of the page that says Elements. Use the buttons to add Paragraphs and Pictures from your Google Drive folder.
