ES237 Resources

To add a group enrollment, click on the group enrollment icon and then Add Group Enrollment on the upper left side of the screen.

Group Enrollment Screens in 4honline Give program a name, description, start and end date Select the appropriate year for the program – the default is the current year, be sure to select the previous year if needed Select or create the group participating in this education activity Select the appropriate delivery mode – for example Overnight Camping for camp participants Record number of hours – you can add to this later if you return to this group with an additional program. Must select a project – related to topic of program – can be more than one topic, especially if more than one session with this group. Click on Add Project

Group Enrollment Screens in 4honline Screen 2 (top half) Record the number of youth in the program under Total Record the number of youth in the program who also participating in another Group Enrollment OR are enrolled 4-H members. Identify the number of participants with duplicates removed as Hispanic or Non-Hispanic (if you have data – great, if not – take your best guess. These numbers must be equal.

Group Enrollment Screens in 4honline Screen 2 (Bottom half) Record the Residence Distribution of the participants after duplication has been removed. Record the Grade Level of participants. This is straight forward if you are in a classroom, but not as easy in another type of group. Make an estimate or ask for a show of hands in grades represented. When the four totals on this page are equal, you may continue.

Group Enrollment Screens in 4honline Screen 3 (top half) Add information about New Volunteers – those not already counted as 4-H club volunteers or volunteers listed as new in another group enrollment. Direct volunteers are those who work directly with the youth in the program. Indirect volunteers who help organize and plan the programming but do not work directly with the youth in the program,

Group Enrollment Screens in 4honline Screen 3 (bottom half) Add information on the New Youth volunteers – not already listed as youth volunteers in the enrollment part of the 4honline or as a new volunteer in another group enrollment. Direct and Indirect as defined on previous slide. Indicate the number of new volunteers who received training for this program. Save the form to add information or later or submit the form to be counted on ES237. This enrollment is not counted on ES237 until you click on submit. Can be edited later.

Check your ES237 frequently - The first page include duplicates, the second page has duplicates removed – this will tell you how many youth from your county participated in Extension delivered youth programs.
