Discussion Which principles are important for the sustainable growth of Workplace Challenge?

To be tested throughout the session… Principles To be tested throughout the session… we want to sustain, grow and continue to invest in the programme Our USP is the combined on-line/ off-line offer the programme should be central to our wider workplace offer, and can act as an umbrella campaign/ route to market for other products and services, including third party activities. the programme should provide free initial access for employees and companies we are prepared to sell the product to companies - not just give it away we are prepared to invest (time, effort, money) in order to secure a return

Business Development Plan Tactics - WPC platform uses ease of entry and free access for employees as a route to engage employers and companies Sell enhanced offer to Companies low cost offer, business case, sales and customer support Engage Employers free access, employee pressure, easy win Engage employees free access, Marcomms plan, word of mouth Need to engage at employer level to sell products and services

The Workplace Challenge Summary Engaging business to increase participation   Strapline: Workplace Challenge is a national programme from County Sports Partnership Network, which aims to engage workplaces and their employees in sport and physical activity.       For employers – Workplace Challenge is an evidenced based programme that is proven to increase participation in sport and physical activity with associated business benefits and impact on the ‘bottom line’ including: Improved health and emotional wellbeing – leading to reduced absenteeism/ presenteeism Productivity – a happier, more productive workforce with better communication and improved/ more diverse skills. Sustainability – reduced CO2 through increase participation in active travel. Corporate Social Responsibility – link to charity fundraising, volunteering and community sport. For employees – Workplace Challenge provides opportunities to take part in sport and physical activity including: Challenge Yourself: Use our Activity Log to record your levels of sport, physical activity and active travel online and compete with other workplaces at the same time. You can log activities all year round for your own records, and many County Sports Partnerships will be organising local logging challenges across the year. Challenge Your Colleagues: County Sports Partnerships organise a Competition Programme across a variety of sports for you and your colleagues. It doesn't matter if you haven't played before, local sports coaches will provide support and instruction for your team and all events have an emphasis on fun.
