Assumption High School Louisiana High School Graduation Requirements Students enter high school following the TOPS University Pathway. Students wishing to switch to the Jump Start diploma must do so during their second year of high school. Students selecting the TOPS University Pathway will continue to pursue core academic credits that mirror the TOPS Core curriculum. Students planning on attending a 4-year college or University should pursue the TOPS University Pathway. These students are actively striving to meet proficiency standards on LEAP tests and GPA & ACT requirements for TOPS and University admissions. Students pursuing the Jump Start TOPS Tech Pathway are striving to meet requirements for TOPS Tech and are actively working to earn credentials needed to be successful in chosen career fields. Students planning on attending a 2-year community college, vocational or technical school, or enter the workforce should pursue the Jump Start TOPS Tech Pathway. Upon earning an Associates Degree, these students may transfer to a 4-year University.
