What’s to do on the Web? What do you like to do on the web? There are lots of things to do on the web. You can play games listen to music. It can even help you with school work. What do you like to do on the web?

Meet the WizzyWigs If you look at the wall you can see 9 weird monster- like things. These are the WizzyWigs. They try to get you to do bad things on the internet. the 9 WizzyWigs are: Potty-Mouth-Pete Meet-Me-Mack Look-at-Dis-Louie Wanta-Know-Wally Spamozoid Hot-Head Follow-You-Fiona Oogle and Numbut

Potty-Mouth-Pete- He uses bad and mean words and rude language.

Meet-Me-Mack Meet-Me-Mack- He wants you to meet him somewhere in person, but you know that you’re never to go anywhere with a stranger. The rules on the Web are the same as the real world.

Look-at-Dis-Louie Look-at-Dis-Louie- He sends pictures of things that are mean or ugly- things that kid’s don’t want to see. If someone you don’t know sends you something in an e-mail, don’t open it!

Wanta-Know-Wally Wanta-Know-Wally- He is a snoop. This person wants to know everything about you and your family such as your name, your parents, your address, and telephone number. NEVER give out any personal information without your parents permission.

ONLY send emails to people you Know such as family, or friends. Spamozoid Spamozoid- He or she sends the same e-mail message to as many other people as they can. This kind of e-mail is called spam. DO NOT open spam mail or any files that may be attached to them!! ONLY send emails to people you Know such as family, or friends.

Hot-Head Hot-Head- He or she uses mean and ugly words “to burn” someone when they communicate. IGNORE THEM or TELL AN ADULT! Hot-Heads lose friends FAST!

NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION! Follow-You-Fiona Follow-You-Fiona- He or she tries to find out information about people on the Web and then follows them around on the internet or in person. NEVER GIVE OUT YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION!

Oogle Oogle- He or she hangs out on the Web and watches what you do and where you go on the internet. The Oogle tries to get your personal information and passwords and can be very tricky. PROTECT YOUR PRIVACY ON THE WEB!

Numbut Numbut- He or she stays glued to the computer 24 hours a day 7 days a week. A Numbut doesn’t have a life. They never get up or go outside, or do anything other than play on the computer.

Our Club Website From now on when you use the BGCN internet you will go to a website that says welcome! As of 11/8/07 you may only go on the websites provided in the Fun Sites page! You may NOT go on anything else! You can try but it wont let you! We can also see what websites you have been on so don’t try to pass our blockers!
