Basic Camera Care Camera/ lens storage- safe place locker home Not plastic bag don’t take lens off Film storage- Cool dry place (refrigerator) Battery storage On/Off- Keep OFF or in ‘L’ = lock = off Lens cleaning- Only non abrasive wipes not shirt or Kleenex UV filters- buy for $20 saves your lens from scratching

Basic Camera Care Cap & cap keeper- attach it so you don’t loose it Program/Mode options- M= you control aperture, shutter speeds and light meter Auto/Manual Focus on lens- AF- Auto Focus- camera controls focus MF- Manual Focus- you control focus Shutter speeds/ Shutter dial- inside on newer cameras outside on older models- on top Your choice

Basic Camera Care B, or Bulb mode- as long as you hold down the shutter button the film will be exposed Aperture Dial- On Lens/ inside the camera ISO/ASA- Film speeds *400 ISO- on older cameras you need to set this. Manual or Power rewind- older cameras press safety button first!

Camera and Correct Exposure Exposure- the amount of light (aperture) and the duration of time (shutter speeds) that the light is allowed to expose the film (or imaging chip on digital camera).
