Importance of Privacy You do not want anyone you do not know knowing your designated location, your address. Having location services on can create knowledge of your area. You do not want your pictures roaming around the internet. Be careful what pictures you post. Someone can take your pictures and claim that they are you so it is important to have your social media private and only accept people you know. Be aware where you log onto your social media from. Saving your login and passwords can result in someone else using it.

Privacy Settings Delete all unnecessary software and extensions Take A Look at your privacy settings in your browser Click Security tab and double check which boxes are checked off. Some cookies ar5e are bad because they are intended to collect all your personal information which is where companies get their information from for advertisers. Turn off location services to prevent from tracking Delete all unnecessary software and extensions

Protect Your Data Careful where you click Some websites can bring pop-ups that are scams. Careful what you allow to access your personal information from your profile. For example: social media such as InstaGram or FaceBook would ask to link their information with another app. Careful which devices you log on to; if it’s a friends device or a family members or at school
