Choose a number to select your family type

Extended Family State some advantages of the extended family State two disadvantages of the extended family

Extended Family Advantages Disadvantages You can have person to share your problems. you can avoid loneliness Your works becomes easier when other shares and helps. Disadvantages Sometimes you have no privacy because there are so many members. They can also cause conflict and problems, meddling in other family members' problems. There can be money problems when there are not enough persons working and when the finical burden is not shared equally

Nuclear Family State 2 advantages of this family structure. State 2 disadvantages of this family structure

Nuclear Family Advantages Disadvantages Strength and Stability Financial Stability- Equals More Opportunity Consistency Means Behavior Successes Disadvantages Close-Knit or Isolated? Burnout Less Conflict Resolution Skills Security and safety

Single Parent Family State 2 disadvantages of this family type. State 2 advantages of this family type

Single Parent Family Advantages Kids are usually more independent Kids appreciate having luxuries because of less money than surrounding 2 parent families

Single Parent Family Disadvantages Harder for parent to manage child or children If multiple children, one child sometimes has responsibilities of a parent to look after younger sibling If child is of opposite sex of single-parent, the child doesn't have a same-sex role model as needed

Con’t Loneliness-In a two-parent home, there are two adults who typically make the decisions for the household. While of course, this is a general conclusion, and not all households experience harmonious decision making even when both parents are in the home, a single parent often feels as if she is carrying the weight of the world on her shoulders. She alone is responsible for the care of her children, her home, and everything else in her world. Stress-Because you are the main person responsible for the care of yourself and your children, an enormous amount of stress can build up in the life of a single parent. Without anyone to share your worries and concerns with, the stress can continue to build.
