Annotate using post-it notes. 13 Nov 2017 Bell Activity: Fill in column 2 and 3 of your vocabulary worksheet to help you study for Friday’s test. Today we will…. Read and Analyze Chapters 19-21 Annotate using post-it notes. Focus on the central conflict.

Couple of announcements….. The spelling test over Chapter 14 has been postponed till the week after Thanksgiving. The reading comprehension/vocabulary FINAL over Red Kayak, chapters 1-28 is FRIDAY, NOV 17. Your vocabulary worksheets are due Friday, before the test. The artwork for the logo contest must be submitted by Friday, Nov 17.

Chapter 19 & 20..Domino Read Practice reading your domino multiple times….. As we read today and tomorrow, mark the quotes in chapters 19-21 that support one side or the other (PRO = TO TELL & CON= TO NOT TELL ) of the central conflict. Since you can’t write in the novel, you will use post-it notes Write CON on the end of the first 5 post-it notes in the first set. Write PRO on the end of the first 5 post it notes in the second set.

Chapter 20….Is this the turning point, the central conflict solved? Cummings uses Brady’s trip to his Aunt Janet’s to further explain how Amanda’s death has not been “forgotten” and how it still affects his family.
