In the beginning of the story he avoids talking about feelings VS By the end of the story he goes in every evening to talk with Brady about how he is feeling. In the beginning of the story he thinks the government is wrong to regulate the watermen’s ability to harvest crabs. VS By the end of the story he believes regulations are needed to preserve the bay. In the beginning of the story he doesn’t like the DiAngelos because they are new and have money. He doesn’t want to get to know them. VS Once they start eating, Tom begins to enjoy himself and share stories. He decides he likes the DiAngelos after all.
