Presentation transcript:

Mrs. Yeates Class Classroom Newsletter October 21, 2016 Classroom News We had a wonderful week learning about pumpkins. Your child should be able to tell you about the life cycle of a pumpkin. The students had fun painting pumpkins to decorate our classroom and learning the “5 Little Pumpkins” poem. Next week we will carve our very own pumpkins! Cottonwood Farm Field Trip- Wow! I heard what a great time everybody had at the Cottonwood Farm! It sounds like the students all enjoyed the train ride, hayrack ride, and most of all a chance to feed all the goats and sheep. A BIG thanks to all of our parent chaperones. You played such a big part in our success! Each child should have received an orange wristband that it can be used for a FREE admission back to Siegel’s Cottonwood Farm. I would highly recommend it! They are so organized and easy to find. Please check out our website to see pictures from our trip. Halloween Parties – On Monday, October 31, students will celebrate Halloween! Students may wear their costumes to school on this day.  The Halloween parade will begin at 10am (with a short procession around the school).  Classroom parties will begin immediately after.  Early dismissal at 11:30am.  Extended day is a available.
