Unit 24 – Counselling Skills in Health and Social Care Lesson 8

M3 Task In order to achieve, your M3 task you will be required to write an essay which provides a review of the use of feedback and supervision in counselling. You will need to use the case study of Mary as reference throughout your essay. You will be required to discuss how supervision and feedback can improve your use of counselling skills and self development.

M3 Task Your essay will have to discuss the following aspects of counselling and feedback which must be discussed looking at their strengths and weaknesses in improving counselling skills and self development:

Feedback and Supervision You will need to research and include discussion on the following: observation and feedback from peers, course facilitator, supervisor; Offering and receiving constructive criticism and feedback; Use of feedback to develop skills (use inspiration from aspects of the feedback sheet provided).

M3 Tips You will need under each of the subheading to identify two aspects. For each aspects, you will be required to identify 1 strength and 1 weakness of those aspects making references to Mary’s case study.
