What is the correct name of our school? Can you briefly introduce it? The correct name of our school is the Secondary Automotive School Holice. Our school is a secondary school which offers three fields of apprenticeship (učební obor) and two four-year programmes finished by leaving examination (maturita). Our school has around 500 students.

What fields of study can students prepare for at our school? Students of these fields learn about the construction of modern cars, their diagnostics, care and repairs. They have their practical training in the school workshop or in car services. They can get driving license in groups B and C.

What fields of study can students prepare for at our school? Students in the field auto body repair also pass the welding course (svářečský kurz). At the end of studies students get the certificate of apprenticeship (výuční list).

Why did you decide to study at this school? Examples of answers: I have been interested in cars and motorcycles since childhood. I visited this school with my parents at „The Open Day“ My choice was easy (simple) – I live not far from school and I am interested in cars very much. My parents helped me with the choice.

Why did you decide to study at this school? The first reason was that I was interested in cars, the second one was that this school has a very good reputation. At the basic school I was interested (I enjoyed) technical subjects and I had good marks. I would like to work in automobile (automotive) industry.

International cooperation The best students of our school can take part in educational stay abroad. They can go to China (Shanghai), Austria (Eggenburg), France (Paris), Poland (Ostreszów), Finland (Porvoo), Slovakia (Bratislava), where they get a certificate and Europass mobility.

Which subject are your favourite? I like technical subjects and PE, but I don´t like English – it is too difficult for me. I like Czech and English language, but I don´t like mathematics and I hate computers – our teacher is very demanding.

Where can graduates from our school get a job? The graduates from this school are ready to work: in services (car services, tire services, breakdown services) or they can join the police. in auto repair business in car market in transportation in insurance companies

What would you like to do after finishing of school? Examples of answers: After graduation I would like to study at a technical university. After finishing of school I would like to start my own company. After graduation I would like to travel and visit the biggest European cities.
