The chairman for endemol is Tim Hincks The chairman for endemol is Tim Hincks. His job is to work closely with the CEO (Chief Executive Officer) Lucas Church in looking at the creative and strategic direction of the company. Tim was made chairman in May 2012 where he also became president. As a president he is responsible for supervising or looking after the Endemol’s groups in the US and UK. Endemol has its own production companies which include Tiger Aspect, Zeppotron, Initial, Remarkable Television, Darlow Smithson Productions , Tigress and Endemol and beyond which annually produce over 2,000 hours in genres including entertainment, drama, comedy, factual, features, documentaries and children's programming.

Public service and commerical

Endemol UK distributes shows to commercial and public service channels such as the BBC, ITV and Channel 4. Some of the shows played on the BBC are Pointless and Bad Education. Some of the shows played on ITV are Benidorm and 8 out of 10 cats. Finally, some of the shows played on Channel 4 are The Million Pound Drop and Supersize Vs Superskinny.

Endemol is vertically integrated Endemol is vertically integrated. They are vertically integrated as they own their own production companies and see right the film or show right through to the end. It is also horizontally integrated as the tiger aspect works with top writers, performers and programme makers to create genre-defining, ground-breaking and most importantly popular quality programming.

They have their own global companies which are known as Endemol and Beyond. Internationally, Endemol Beyond currently has more than 300 million monthly views and features stars such as Pitbull, The Sopranos; Desperate Housewives as well as U.S. YouTube superstars including young rap sensation, MattyB (over one billion views; 6.7 million followers); Vine comedian, Brittany Furlan (over 7 million followers) and digital fashion and beauty pioneer, Michelle Phan (over 6.8 million followers). Endemol Beyond is the first premium channel network with hubs in US, UK, Germany, France, Italy and Spain; and is expanding into regions such as Asia Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe.

Income

Money One way that a company can get money to continue filming existing shows or even create new ones is through sponsors. This works through another company paying the production company or distribution company to advertise their product at the end of a programme etc. For example Bavaria beer pays the distribution company to advertise their product sponsoring Benidorm. Also, just like they do for advertisement, Endemol are funded by the money they make through their games, books and merchandise of their TV programmes.

Advertisement To advertise a programme, details about the new series of the show is posted on social media such as Facebook and Twitter around a month before the programme is about to air each year. Also, trailers of the new series of the show will be shown on the channel a month in advance to get the viewers intrigued and make them want to watch when the programme airs. These trailers will also be uploaded to You tube and eventually get onto Facebook and other social media. Another way that Endomol will advertise their product is through product placement. For many of their programmes, Endemol have created games whether that be board or virtual, books about the programmes and also general merchandise such as T-shirts, other clothing, etc.
