Who am I? Led the struggle to give women equal rights, including the right to vote.

Who am I? Overcame disabilities and worked to help others who were blind and deaf.

Who am I? Born in a log cabin and taught himself how to read. Became a U.S. President. Known as “Honest Abe.” U.S. President when the country was divided over the issue of equality for all people. Helped free African American slaves.

Who am I? The first African American player in the major leagues of baseball. His actions helped bring about other opportunities for African Americans.

Who am I? Born in Virginia and was a farmer. Became a brave leader of soldiers. The first president of the United States, known as “Father of Our Country.” Honored on Presidents’ Day observed in February. Worked under the republican form of government. Helped put the basic principles into practice for the new nation.
