WP2 Analysis of Current Situation and Potentials Partners examined a current situation of apprenticeship scheme in Croatia among relevant stakeholders, SMEs and vocational schools - November 2016 – March 2017 online survey - opened on 16 December 2016 and closed on 20 January 2017 Three versions of the survey were made available, for: SMEs - distributed through CCE county chambers - 699 SMEs answered vocational schools - distributed by SEECEL - 119 answered county departments responsible for education - distributed by SEECEL - 5 answered Strengthening the Capacities of the Chambers and Partners to help SMEs to Engage in apprenticeship

WP4: Development of a Package of Requirements for SMEs Lead organization: University of Zadar partners will develop a set of criteria for SMEs wishing to be engaged in apprenticeship and set of criteria for SMEs employees that will be mentors to apprentices Toolbox for Apprenticeship Advisors (CCE, WKÖ, SEECEL, CES, CCTC ZG) - October 2017 a set of information that each potential Apprenticeship Advisor needs to know to provide advisory service. Set of Criteria for SMEs (CCE, WKÖ, SEECEL, CES, CCTC ZG) - October 2017 a list of conditions enterprises (SMEs and crafts) need to fulfil so they can be involved in apprenticeship system. A Guidebook for SME Mentors (WKÖ, University of Zadar, CCTC ZG) - November 2017 a set of information for enterprises that potential mentors-permanent employees in enterprises need to learn so they could provide training to the apprentices A Draft Exam for SME Mentors (University of Zadar) - November 2017 drafting an exam which SME’s employees will need to pass to qualify as a mentor   Joint Conference for SME Mentors (CCE) - December 2017 – presentation of results Strengthening the Capacities of the Chambers and Partners to help SMEs to Engage in apprenticeship

WP 5 Data base of Apprenticeship Advisors, SME Mentors and SMEs an on-line data base will be created that will consist of list of Apprenticeship Advisors within project partners, list of certified SME mentors and list of SMEs interested to become engaged in apprenticeship. Online data base, (CCE, CES, SEECEL, CCTC ZG) - December 2017- September 2018 and beyond List of Apprenticeship Advisors with their contacts, list of certified SME mentors and list of SMEs interested to become engaged in the apprenticeship. Certification of SME Mentors (CCE) - December 2017- September 2018 and beyond For up to 20 mentors from SMEs; the Project will cover the expenses of examination and certification. Strengthening the Capacities of the Chambers and Partners to help SMEs to Engage in apprenticeship

WP 6 Dissemination of the Results During the whole project Activities: Regular up-date of the project web page Media coverage Preparation of educational and promotional brochures to spread the visibility of the project activities and outcomes Organisation of final conference to present results and recommendations International cooperation and dissemination of results through existing network of partners to raise the awareness of the benefits of effective apprenticeship scheme Strengthening the Capacities of the Chambers and Partners to help SMEs to Engage in apprenticeship
