Issues and Problems in Physical and Health Education The percentage of schools requiring physical education has decreased dramatically over the years. Physical activity levels decrease as children get older, leading to obesity. 75% of adolescents in grades 9-12 do not meet the national recommendations for daily physical activity. (Recommended to get a minimum of 60 minutes a day)
