Most Should be able to explain how malnutrition can be caused by too much as well as not enough food. Some Pupils: Should also be able to give more detailed explanations of the effects if malnutrition. Objective: To learn the effects of a poor diet

Diet is the usual food and drink that each person consumes and is a very important part of health. A balanced diet means eating the right types of food in the right amounts so that the body gets the nutrients it needs. Reminder: What are the seven nutrients needed in a balanced diet? carbohydrates proteins fats vitamins minerals water fibre
