Red Light If there is vehicle ahead of you, stop where you can see their back tires touch the road. Continue to check your rear zone

Turning Left on Red Only if turning from a one-way onto another one-way

Left Turns at Traffic Signals Two Types Protected Unprotected

Unprotected Left Turn No special left turn light Must yield to oncoming traffic

What should you do if you are waiting for a left turn and the light turns to red? Complete the turn once it is safe and there is no longer any oncoming traffic.

Protected Left Turns

When can a protected left turn change to an unprotected left turn? You do not get an arrow when there are four or more lights. The arrow goes away. A flashing yellow arrow.
