Changing room (corridor) extension The changing room has to be extended over the cable trays, so that they will be out of the cleanroom. It shall have two single doors: one to enter R-C04-A and one to enter R-C04-B. Its ceiling shall continue the existing one. The dismantling and disposal of existing door (and wall) of the current changing room is part of the supply. 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti

Internal partitioning wall The internal partitioning wall shall have two windows and one double door. It shall be extended up to the ceiling and sealed (airtight) in order to completely separate R-C04-A from R-C04-B. It shall have the openings for cable trays and all other openings requested by CERN. 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti

Enclosures (pillars and cable trays) Enclosures for pillars Enclosure for cable trays Each pillar shall be enclosed and sealed. The enclosure shall have openings on two opposite sides to access the cable trays running along the pillars as well as opening for electric and Ethernet sockets, switches, etc. The cable trays will run along the upper corners of the cleanroom (see next slide) and shall be enclosed and sealed. The enclosure shall have openings to access the cable trays and allow an easy cable pulling. 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti

Enclosures (pillars and cable trays) Enclosures (and cable trays) shall be located according to this picture. No enclosures/cable trays shall be added over the rails (the height of the room is important in this area) 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti

SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti Double door View from inside View from outside The double door on the North-East side of the extension shall be airtight (rails to be considered). It shall have transparent windows (not shown in the figures). It is always in direct contact with the external environment (removable wall is not sealed). Once opened, it shall guarantee an opening of at least 2800mm x 3500mm  it shall be opened towards the inside. 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti

SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti Extension walls The extension walls shall arrive up to the ceiling and shall be sealed and airtight. They shall have the openings for the CV grids, for the grounding, for sockets (electric and Ethernet), switches and all other openings requested by CERN. Dimensions of the sandwich panels shall be adequate to the environment constraints (access doors, scaffolding, etc.). The metallic structure can be either “stand-alone” or added to the existing structure. SMB Validation 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti

Position of power boxes ACCEPTED These are the positions for electric boxes (sockets), where there will be the need of dedicated openings 20/11/17 SR1 Cleanroom extension - Kick-off meeting - Marco Ciapetti
