About AISNE The professional membership association for independent schools across New England Provide value through accreditation, professional development, government relations, information resources and consultative engagement 200 schools in the AISNE membership Recognized leader in diversity and social equity work Small staff based in the Boston area with a Board of Directors of 21 leaders, representing different schools, business and nonprofits across the region.

Mission Statement With an ongoing commitment to equity and inclusion, the Association of Independent Schools in New England (AISNE) shapes the educational landscape for independent schools through leadership, education, service, and strategic advocacy.

Enrollment - Trends Fell by 1 million students 2001 – 11.7% of students enrolled in private school 2011 – 9.7 million; a loss of 15% of K12 market share in 10 years NOT JUST PAROCHIAL Schools
