A little bit about me: This is my 15th year teaching (1st, 2nd, 4th, middle school) Undergraduate degree from Gwynedd Mercy University, Master’s Degree from Neumann University, Health and PE certification from Eastern University Mother of three beautiful children (Sean, Chase, Lexi) Proud member of our community

Health Requirements: Folder or 3 ring Binder for outlines and notes Pencil/pen Notes from class for participation and classwork assignments At home work (tests/projects)

Health topics by grade level: 7th Grade Health 8th Grade health Body systems (review) Mental Health Growth and Development Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco Disease Physical Fitness Personal Care Personal Safety Life Skills Stress Management Nutrition First Aid Reproduction Health Care Drugs, Alcohol, Tobacco

PE Requirements/Grading Participation/Preparedness/Sneakers Lose 5 points each time they are not prepare/injured in a sport, etc. please send me in a note for documentation so they do not lose the points. If your child isn’t feeling well or injured in a sport, etc. please send me in a note for documentation so they do not lose the points. If your child has to sit out from gym due to an injury please get me a doctors note. I cannot allow them to participate again until I have a note stating a date from the doctor. Sportsmanship/Cooperation Parent will be notified of issues via email or phone call Effort Grading is NOT based on athletic ability………like the old saying goes……”A for EFFORT!”
