Presentation transcript:

Psalm 19:7-10

Why is the Word Sweet? The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; having been born again, not of corruptible seed but incorruptible, through the word of God which lives and abides forever, 1 Peter 1:23

Why is the Word Sweet? The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the soul; For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. Hebrews 4:12

Why is the Word Sweet? The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach, and it will be given to him. James 1:5

Why is the Word Sweet? The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; Trust in the Lord with all your heart, And lean not on your own understanding; Proverbs 3:5

Why is the Word Sweet? The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; And truly Jesus did many other signs in the presence of His disciples, which are not written in this book;

Why is the Word Sweet? The testimony of the Lord is sure, making wise the simple; 31 but these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing you may have life in His name. John 20:30-31

The statutes of the Lord are right, Why is the Word Sweet? The statutes of the Lord are right, rejoicing the heart;

Why is the Word Sweet? The commandment of the Lord is pure, enlightening the eyes; Blessed are the pure in heart, For they shall see God. Matthew 5:8

Why is the Word Sweet? The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will by no means pass away. Matthew 24:35

Why is the Word Sweet? The fear of the Lord is clean, enduring forever; Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God and keep His commandments, For this is man's all. 14 For God will bring every work into judgment, Including every secret thing, Whether good or evil. Ecclesiastes 12:13-14

Why is the Word Sweet? The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. My tongue shall speak of Your word, For all Your commandments are righteousness. Psalms 119:172

Why is the Word Sweet? The judgments of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.” John 8:31-32
