Ipads for First Grade Becky Miller

Goals To reinforce skills taught in the classroom. Help students develop fine motor skills. Introduce students to the wonderful world of technology. Use iPads to help teach struggling students.

Assessments and Base Line I used the Map testing to get an initial base line and starting point. I researched the internet to determine which apps would be best for my classroom and which would help with specific students. I also asked other teachers which programs they found to be successful.

Map Results – Beginning of the year Student A- Scored Math 169 /Reading 153 Student B- Scored Math 176 /Reading 172 Student C- Scored Math 164/Reading 166
